User Rights Management SOP
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to elevate or reduce user rights within the system, ensuring proper access control for users.

Key Steps
1. Accessing User Groups 0:12
Click on the gear button on the left-hand menu to access Settings.
Navigate to Company Settings.
Select User Groups from the right-hand side.
2. Reviewing User Groups 0:24
View the list of existing user groups in the system.
You can add new user groups or modify existing ones.
3. Checking User Rights 0:36
Select a user group to see the list of rights associated with that group.
Note that the Administrator group has full access, while other groups like Technician have limited rights.
4. Selecting a User for Rights Modification 1:10
Choose a user to modify their group membership. For example, select Ryan Testersmith.
5. Elevating User Rights 1:31
Go to the Administrator group.
Click on Add Employee.
Select Ryan Testersmith from the list of users not in that group.
Confirm the addition.
6. Verifying User Group Membership 1:47
Check the report to confirm that Ryan Testersmith is now in the Administrator, Technician, and Account Rep groups.
7. Understanding Rights Hierarchy 2:02
Remember that users in multiple groups will have the highest rights available to them.
