How to Add a Room to a Job

Add rooms in Lever360 manually or with Capture Room to auto-measure space. Start scoping, logging, and adding equipment fast.

Rooms are the foundation for scoping, documentation, equipment setup, and drying logs. This guide walks you through how to add a new room — either manually or using your device's camera.

🔹 Accessing the Room Tool

  • Navigate to your job screen in the Lever360 app.

  • Tap the “+ Room” icon in the lower-right corner.

🔹 Naming & Defining the Room

  • Enter a name for the room (e.g., Bedroom 2).

  • Choose if the room is Affected or Unaffected.

🔹 Inputting Dimensions

You have two options for setting room dimensions:

Option 1: Manual Entry

  • Input Length, Width, and Height manually.

Option 2: Use Capture Room (Recommended)

  1. Tap Capture Room.

  1. Tap Start Capture and slowly move your phone around the room.

  1. Once the scan is complete, tap Finish Capture.

  1. Tap Yes to confirm the auto-filled measurements.

📏 This tool uses your device camera to scan and calculate room dimensions in real time.

🔹 Finalizing the Room

  • Tap Create (top right) to add the room to your job.

You can now:

  • 📸 Add photos

  • 🧰 Add equipment

  • 📝 Start scoping

  • 📋 Begin your dry log

💡 Quick Tips

🛠 Use clear, consistent room names (e.g., “Master Bedroom” vs. “Bed 1”).
📷 Always take photos after creating the room for documentation.
📐 Use Capture Room when possible for faster and more accurate measurements.
🔁 Rooms can be edited later to update size, notes, or status (affected/unaffected).
