Overview
Lever360's LiDAR features use the LiDAR scanner built into Apple's Pro iPhones and iPad Pros. With a supported device you can scan a room to create a Room Plan, capture the room's dimensions automatically, plot photos, notes, moisture points and equipment on the plan, and share a Floorplan Report.
Room scanning is built on Apple's RoomPlan, which needs a device with a LiDAR scanner. New Pro models with LiDAR are supported as they come out, so this list doesn't change every year.
Supported iPhones
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, and every Pro and Pro Max model since.
❌ iPhones without "Pro" in the name don't have a LiDAR scanner. That includes the standard, Plus, mini, "e" and SE models, and the iPhone Air.
Supported iPads
Every iPad Pro from 2020 onward, starting with the iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation).
❌ The standard iPad, iPad Air and iPad mini don't have a LiDAR scanner.
Android Phones and Tablets
Android devices don't have the LiDAR scanner needed to scan a room. Once a room has been scanned on a supported iPhone or iPad and synced to the job, Android users can open, view and edit the Room Plan.
How to Tell If Your Device Has LiDAR
Look at the camera bump on the back. The LiDAR scanner is the small black circle next to the camera lenses.
Or go to Settings → General → About on your iPhone or iPad. If the model name includes Pro (iPhone 12 Pro or newer, or an iPad Pro from 2020 or newer), you're set.
💡 Keep your device updated. For the best scanning results, keep your iPhone or iPad on the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and update the Lever360 app from the App Store.
