Troubleshoot Lever360 email sending errors for Gmail / Google Mail accounts: app permissions

If you receive the error:

"Access Blocked" - "App not Trusted" - "This app is blocked" - "Authorization Error"

when signing in to Lever360 with Google, follow these steps to resolve

the issue.

IMPORTANT: This setup must be completed by a Google Workspace

Administrator. After configuration, users should sign in again.

How to Whitelist Lever360 in Google Workspace (Recommended)

This guide explains how a Google Workspace administrator can allow Lever360 to access Google accounts by adding it to the trusted apps list.

This is the recommended solution to avoid authorization errors when signing in with Google.


Step 1 — Open Google Admin Console

2. Navigate to: Security → Access and data control → API controls

3. Scroll to App access control and click:

4. Manage App Access


Step 2 — Configure New App

1. Click:

Configure new app

2. Then select:

OAuth App Name or Client ID


Step 3 — Enter Lever360 iRestore Client ID

1. Enter the Lever360 Client ID:

2. If needed:

- Ask the Lever360 administrator for the Client ID

- Or find it in the login error URL

3. Click: Search

4. Select: lever360-irestore


Step 4 — Select Scope

1. Select: All organizational units (all users)

2. Or choose specific organizational units if needed.

3. Click: Continue


Step 5 — Grant Access

1. Select: Trusted

2. This allows Lever360 to access required Google services.

3. Trusted = Can access all Google services

4. Click: Continue


Step 6 — Finish Configuration

1. Review settings and Click: Finish


Result

After configuration:

● Users will be able to sign in with Google

● Authorization errors will be resolved

● Lever360 will be added to the trusted applications list


What If It Still Doesn't Work?

Check with Your IT Administrator:

● Is Lever360 added as Trusted app?

● Is access allowed for my Organizational Unit?

● Are third-party apps allowed?

Ask IT Administrator to Check

Security → API Controls → App access control

Verify: Lever360 is listed in Configured Apps

Access level = Trusted

Correct Organizational Unit selected
