Set your next job and invoice numbers in Lever360 to keep records organized and ensure each job and invoice is uniquely tracked.

Getting Started with Numbering Setup

This guide walks you through setting your next job number and next invoice number in the Lever360 iRestore system. It’s an essential step to ensure all your jobs and invoices are uniquely and accurately tracked — especially when transitioning from another system.

What You’ll See in This Video

Accessing Job Information Settings

  • From the Main Menu, scroll to the Settings Sprocket

  • Select Company Settings

  • Click on Job Information

Setting Your Job & Invoice Numbers

  • Use the Next Job Number and Next Invoice Number fields

  • Tap the three dots (elliptical) next to each field to edit

  • Input your starting numbers — for example, set your invoice number to “160”

  • Click Save Changes

Logging Shop Time

  • In the same section, you can also set the default account for logging shop time

🔢 Avoid duplicates:
Start with the next available job or invoice number in sequence — especially if you're migrating from a previous system.

Use logical numbering:
Set your first job/invoice numbers thoughtfully — this is the foundation of your company’s internal record-keeping.

💾 Don't forget to save:
After making any updates, always hit Save Changes to apply them across the system.

Q: Can I reset job or invoice numbers after creating records?
A: It’s not recommended. Once a number is used, changing it can lead to duplicate or missing records. Always start your sequence ahead of your last used number.

Q: What if I already had jobs and invoices in another system?
A: Simply pick up where you left off. For example, if your last job was #1042, set your next job number to #1043.

Q: What’s the purpose of the shop time account?
A: This is the default account that all general (non-job-specific) time logs — like shop maintenance — will be assigned to.
