Use email templates to streamline and standardize messages sent from Jobs.

Overview:

Use email templates in Lever360 to standardize and streamline communication directly from Jobs.

  • Default Templates are built-in and linked to specific system functions, such as sending invoices or estimates.

  • Custom Templates allow you to create reusable messages for any job-related communication.

Templates can include keys to auto-fill job-specific details, ensuring each message is personalized. Keys can be inserted in both the email body and subject line for dynamic messaging.

This guide explains where to find email templates, the difference between default and custom types, and provides ready-to-use samples to help you get started.

Types of Templates

Default Email Templates

  • Linked to specific system actions.

  • Auto-used when sending things like Invoices, Estimates, Forms, etc.

  • Cannot be edited or removed.

Custom Email Templates

  • Created by you for general job communications.

  • Can be selected when sending any job email.

Using Keys for Auto-Fill
In the email template builder, you can insert keys in the body of your email to automatically fill in job-specific details—like customer name, job number, or site address—when the email is sent. This helps personalize every message without manual updates.

Tip: You can also copy and paste keys into the email subject line to personalize subject lines with job-specific details.
