This article is for employees and field technicians who use the Lever360 mobile app. It walks you through how to add a new piece of equipment to Lever360 directly from your mobile device, including how to use your camera to scan a barcode and auto-fill the equipment's barcode field.

How to Add Equipment from Your Mobile Device
Step 1 — Open the More Menu
In the Lever360 mobile app, tap More in the bottom-right corner of your screen. This is where you access modules that are not on the main navigation bar, including Equipment.
Step 2 — Select Equipment
From the More menu, tap Equipment to open the Equipment list, where all of your tracked equipment is stored.
Step 3 — Tap the Add Button
On the Equipment screen, tap the Add button to open a new, blank equipment record where you can enter the details for the piece of equipment.
Step 4 — Fill In the Equipment Details
Enter any information you want to record about the piece of equipment in the available fields. You can fill in as much or as little detail as you need before saving.
Step 5 — Scan the Barcode (Optional)
To add the equipment's barcode without typing it, tap Scan and point your device's camera at the barcode. Lever360 reads the barcode and automatically fills in the barcode field for you, which is faster and more accurate than entering it by hand.

Step 6 — Save the Equipment
Once you have filled in the information you want to add, tap Save. The piece of equipment is now added to the system and will appear in your Equipment list.
What to Expect After Saving
After you tap Save, the new equipment record is added to Lever360 and becomes available across the platform. You can expect the following:
• The equipment appears in your Equipment list on both the mobile app and the web app.
• Any details you entered, including a scanned barcode, are saved to the record.
• The equipment can then be assigned to jobs as needed.
